Breathing new life into vintage treasures

This week I have been being CREATIVE. Call it breathing new life in to vintage treasures, recycling, updating...call it what you will its been great fun. Take these 1950's beauties, ok some are more beautiful than others, and some ''only a mother could love"  but where there's a vintage will, there's a vintage way:

Then take a vintage coffee sack.......



or a Vintage flag.......



Or some vintage fabric from the stash......... and Voila !!!!









Reinvented, recycled, restyled and at least another fifty years ahead of them....God I Love Vintage !!!!!

Some of these beauties will make an appearance on the stall, Vintage Influence, H5, Waverley Antiques, or I am happy to take commissions and I can post overseas too.

Yesterday after a five hour marathon my little space,Vintage Influence, H5 in The Coolroom, at  Waverley Antiques  has been re-vamped, re-stocked and re-worked. Now all  my hard work is done, for the next few weeks at least, so forgive the lack of prose this week. Hopefully the pictures speak for themselves !!!

New Additions At Vintage Influence

Here are this weeks new goodies on the stall, Vintage Influence, H5 in The Coolroom at  Waverley Antiques . This gorgeous New York Girl ......Well Brooklyn to be exact.

A funky industrial mannequin stripped down to her fabulous bones and she still has her ACME label....superb !!!

I also have a whole bunch of great industrial stencils.

Some traditional Aussie wool bale stencils, some industrial ones from the States and some very special French Wine case stencils including Bourgogne, Brouilly and Gevrey Chambertin no less .......

An awesome New York Taxi cab meter (Sorry you can take the girl out of New York but you can't take New York out of the girl)

And some new art work including, Vintage Maps, Oil Painted shabby tea roses and Medical Charts. Please pop by in the hols and take a look......Its a great day out !!!
